Start with a connected WhatsApp inbox, an approved template, and contacts who should receive this message. Your role must allow campaign creation and sending.
Start with the basics
Open Campaigns → Create Campaign. Give the campaign a recognizable internal name and choose the inbox that will send it. Check its number, especially if your workspace has several inboxes.
- 1Give your campaign an internal name.
- 2Choose the sender for this campaign.
- 3Move through the six setup steps.
Work through the six steps
- Basics: set the name, description, and sender.
- Audience: select saved segments or build filters. Inspect the matching contacts and their phone numbers.
- Template: choose an approved message in the right language for your audience.
- Mapping: connect template variables to contact fields and supply appropriate fallback values. Add required header media.
- Schedule: choose timing and review the sending pace, delivery window, and frequency limit settings shown.
- Review: confirm the sender, audience size, message, variables, and schedule before the final action.
Test before a broad send
For your first campaign, use a segment containing only a test contact you control. Check the actual message on that device, including the name, links, and attachments. Then prepare the intended customer audience.
If you schedule a campaign, check the displayed timezone as well as the date. A campaign can wait for its delivery window or pace limit after it starts.
Confirm the launch
Wait for the success response and check the campaign’s status in the list. Avoid clicking the final action repeatedly. Open the campaign to monitor delivery.
