Connect your Salla store

Use one connection code for an existing Botat account, or activate the account created for a new store owner.

Salla connects to one Botat workspace. That workspace holds your store connection and the WhatsApp inbox used for its notifications.

Choose the path that fits you

Already have a Botat account? Choose a workspace or create a new one in Botat, then use its connection code in Salla.

New to Botat? When the store owner installs the app, Botat checks the Salla account’s email. If that email has no Botat account, Botat creates an account and a store-named workspace and sends an activation email.

If a store team member installs the app, the owner may need to complete setup or give that person access to the intended Botat workspace.

Existing account: get your workspace code

  1. Sign in to Botat.
  2. Choose the workspace where the store should be connected. If you need a separate space, create it first.
  3. Open Integrations and choose Salla.
  4. Open the connection form and use Link from Salla App Store.
  5. Give the connection a name and select Generate pairing code.
  6. Copy the code beginning with BTAT-. It is valid for 30 minutes.
Open Salla from Integrations in the workspace you intend to connect.

Save the code in Salla

  1. In your Salla merchant dashboard, open Apps → Botat → Settings.
  2. Paste the code into Botat connection code.
  3. Save the settings.
  4. Return to Botat. The connection status should update after Salla saves the form.

You do not need a separate workspace ID, API key, or Botat password in Salla. If the code expires, generate a new one from the same workspace.

New account: activate it from your email

  1. Install Botat from Salla using the store owner’s account.
  2. Check that account’s email inbox for the Botat activation email.
  3. Open the link and choose your password. The link is valid for 24 hours and can be used once.
  4. Sign in to the workspace named after your store.
  5. If the link expires, use Request a new activation link on the activation page.

Account matching uses the email returned by Salla. If you use a different email in Botat and a workspace was already created, contact support before trying to move the store.

Turn on customer notifications

Connecting the store does not finish message setup. Connect a WhatsApp inbox, then follow Set up Salla notifications to choose templates, enable messages, and test delivery.
